Dropshipping Nepal already had traction, but the backend was holding them back—unreliable registration, catalog sync that drifted from suppliers, orders getting stuck mid-pipeline, and payment edge cases that eroded trust at checkout. We audited the system, closed the failure modes, and rebuilt the critical services: accounts, product ingestion and sync, order lifecycle, and payment reconciliation with clearer error handling and observability. We refreshed the marketing surface for conversion, but the real win was a platform operations team could run without firefighting. Hundreds of small businesses across Nepal now depend on that stack every day.

What we did

Mero Shopping was already a household name with a huge catalog—fashion, electronics, beauty, home—and cross-border pipelines from marketplaces like Flipkart and Myntra. The pain was in the engine room: inventory sync drifting under load, APIs slowing search and filters at peak times, and payments that should have been boring but weren't—failed webhooks, edge-case declines, and reconciliation gaps that showed up as abandoned carts and support tickets. We audited and fixed the backend and payments layer: hardened checkout with Stripe, closed webhook and idempotency holes, tightened stock updates against supplier feeds, and improved how high-traffic reads hit the database and cache. Shoppers still get the same storefront experience; what changed is reliability—fewer stuck orders, clearer payment outcomes, and a stack the team can run when volume spikes.
